I am an experienced, fully-accredited psychotherapist firmly believing in the transformative impact regular psychotherapy can have upon your life. I am passionate about supporting my clients in improving their psychological well-being and their journey towards personal growth and self-individuation. Psychotherapy has a positive impact upon low mood, sadness, anxiety, relationship difficulties and other life issues. Through Psychotherapy and Counselling we can understand your feelings and where they come from. Such counselling provides reliable support that can help you grow as a person.
I am an open-minded and reflective person with a natural interest in people. I strongly believe in the therapeutic value of a boundaried, empathetic relationship within a secure frame.
I would describe myself as working from the relational school of Psychotherapy, and consider myself an Independent. I do however have a solid grounding in classical, Freudian and Kleinian psychoanalysis theory.
I completed my postgraduate diploma at WPF Therapy, a highly respected and rigorous centre for psychodynamic training. I have many years’ experience of one-to-one therapeutic work.
I have an extensive background in mental health as a social worker (15 years +) and am a published writer. I originally undertook my professional training at WPF Therapy, one of the leading academic and clinical institutions for Psychotherapy in the UK, which is accredited by both BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I am a member of the FPC (Foundation for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BACP, adhering to the code of practice and ethics of these professional bodies.
I have a peaceful room with garden views in South East London, and a well-establlshed clinic in London Bridge / Borough which is within easy access of the City.
