About Tom Hocknell

Life is challenging and we all experience difficult emotions at some point. Stress, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, anger, low self-esteem, loneliness, unstable employment, obsessive thinking or behaviour, and life-changes are just some of the reasons why you might want to try psychotherapy.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice, and I welcome anyone who feels that psychotherapy may provide the opportunity to consider their life. It is a collaborative process between the person seeking help and myself. It affords the chance to  discover in which direction you might want your life to go. We can work together to develop greater self-awareness and a deeper understanding of your relationships with others.

On-going psychotherapy is a mutual place in which we might think about the way you do things and why.  It can have rewarding results in helping with poor mood and the ability to deal with life.

I have a peaceful practice garden room in South East London, and a well-established clinic in London Bridge.
